Didn’t have to go to Sweden to have a well-made Cardamom Bun. It had a perfect amount of sweetness for me and the bun’s texture had a good amount of chew in it. Same with the cinnamon bun. Best to come when they are freshly made as I figured it would be softer and extra fragrant. The hot chocolate was decadently dark. The coffee was alright. It was darker than my usual preference but pairs well with the buns. The staff were nice as well.

I am a baker and I fall in love with Fabrique. The cardamom buns hands down the best in the city- the cardamom grinds are very right-front and center. Try cardamom almond cream buns and you are up to a big surprise. I love how the buns is bien cuit and crispy on top. The almond cream portion is generous mixing with peppery cardamom. The saffron raisin buns are worth mentioning too, so aromatic. Lastly, the crispy bread is addictively yummy. Bravo! I

Possibly the best cardamom bun in the city! I might've enjoyed the almond cardamom bun even more, considering it has the rich cardamom flavor plus yummy frangipane; only downside was it wasn't quite as soft as the regular cardamom bun. Staff here were great and there was plenty of seating on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Delicious pastries. I’m a huge fan of cardamom (it’s my favorite spice), and the cardamom bun was so great, I went back the next day for another. I also tried the almond bun which was also really good. My friend’s matcha was not blended properly… so it was actually clumps of matcha powder in iced milk.

Came to get my cardamom bun fix. Pleasantly surprised by the saffron bun. I might even liked it more than the cardamom bun this time. The cardamom bun was a little stiff.

super tasty cardamom bun. the topping is a bit sweet but it balances nicely with the bready parts. got to go back and try the other pastries and breads cause they look delicious as well! would be great if you ever need to bring something for like a potluck or a food gift.

Fabrique Bakery is legit. Beautiful bread and pastries, made on premise from an open kitchen in the rear. Comfortable old-school brick is nostalgic and the atmosphere is ready for you to sip espresso, cappuccino, lattes and coffee, with all those carb-licious options.

Updated 10/29/2023 Fabrique continues to dazzle with their bakes. The Seasonal Apple Buns are yummy. The Seeded Crackers are addictive and full of flavor. The Vegan Chocolate Cookie Flats are magical. A flat square cookie sprinkled with crunchy pearl sugar simply melts in your mouth, delivering a sort of luscious chocolate brownie taste experience. Buy a couple as they freeze beautifully and pulll one out when you are having a chocolate emergency. This Swedish import is hands down a "must experience" in NYC. Known for their beautiful and delicious "Buns" after tasting them, you'll understand the line to get in. We might call them Danish or Pastry in the US. At Fabrique, they're Buns. The highlight is the Cardamon Bun and the seasonal Saffron Bun. But seriously, everything we've ever tried was delightful 😊.
